Brewery year 1995
KOKU 1995 conjures an amber sky that stirs nostalgia, like a sepia-toned photograph from days past. Its radiant hue is the result of meticulous daily inspections in a dedicated maturation tank. Hailed early on as a promise for the future, the sake was repeatedly examined by master brewers and, after rigorous evaluation, was elevated into this singular bottle. One sip releases its pure, graceful flavour across the tongue, while a fine honey-like aroma blossoms throughout the palate as it glides down the throat.
Perfect for heart-warming occasions—reunions with old friends, cherished anniversaries, and everything in between. Poured into fine glassware, KOKU 1995 sparkles in amber brilliance, instantly brightening the atmosphere. When you raise a toast, its lucid depth seems to bridge past memories with present joy.
As life’s individual journeys intertwine, time spent with this bottle evokes the moving sensation of leafing through the chapters of one’s own story.
Step 01
Matured for 22 years in tanks equipped with refrigeration facilities in the brewery. After the 23th year, the sake was switched from refrigerated storage to in-warehouse room temperature for further aging based on its quality and state of maturity.
Step 02
Matured for 6 years in tanks in the cool, room temperature brewery warehouse (as of June 2025).
The aging process will continue after 2025, so the number of years of maturation will continue to increase.
